I’m a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and Associate Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate specializing in helping individuals break free from compulsulsive sexual behavior, men’s intimacy disorders, trauma, and the patterns that keep them stuck. My clinical work is grounded in deep compassion, curiosity, and a belief that no one is defined by their worst moment. Healing begins when people feel safe enough to tell the truth — and my role is to help create that space.
My approach integrates evidence-based models with a strong relational and trauma-informed lens, including Patrick Carnes’ 30-Task Model, DBT skills training, and attachment-based work. I focus heavily on family-of-origin dynamics, boundary development, shame resilience, and the internal narratives that drive compulsive behaviors.
Before founding Second Chance Healing, I worked across every level of care — Residential, PHP, IOP, and OP — including serving as a primary therapist at an eating disorder facility and an addictions treatment program. I’ve facilitated hundreds of group sessions, multi-family programs, and psychoeducational workshops, and I continue to specialize in the intersection of trauma, addiction, attachment wounds, and identity.
I believe treatment should be active, collaborative, and deeply personalized. In my sessions, you can expect a balance of structured models and honest, grounded conversation. Together, we identify what’s driving your patterns, build meaningful internal awareness, and create sustainable pathways toward intimacy, connection, and long-term recovery.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me at metal concerts, playing guitar, writing music, or spending time with my Shiba Inu, Bear — all reminders that growth and joy can coexist with struggle.
If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing, I’m here to walk that journey with you.
What Does a Session Look Like…
Each session is a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you’re encouraged to show up just as you are—no masks, no pressure to perform. In our initial sessions, we may spend some time completing assessments and gathering background information to help me better understand your unique story and what brings you to therapy. From there, we’ll explore the emotional, relational, and behavioral patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Therapy isn’t always easy—it can bring up discomfort, resistance, and hard truths. But it’s also a space for growth, healing, and reclaiming your life. I use a blend of practical tools, psychoeducation, and deeper emotional work, all tailored to your goals and your pace. Whether we’re unpacking trauma, navigating relationships, or working through compulsive behaviors, our work together is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that meaningful change is possible.
